We are all aware that a significant percentage of the local business reality is made up of small set-ups some of which are family-owned. The main characteristics of such entities may involve one or more of the following: cash intensive business, inventory, use of shareholders’ funds in business, shareholders’ injections into business, lack of adequate internal control procedures and more.
This workshop will tackle the main problems and challenges auditors face when auditing such realities. The workshop will also delve into the different ways the auditor should approach and conclude on these matters.
